We embark fresh and early on our trip to the hills beyond the Taurus Mountains. This region is rife with natural beauty and an ideal place to seek out authentic, local tastes. The drive will be 1600 m above sea level along a very panoramic mountain road. Our first stop is the Green Lake, then up to the town of Elmali. Here we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch cooked with organic produce grown and derived locally on these fertile lands. With bellies full and satisfied, we’ll resume our journey to nearby vineyards where traditional Lycian wine is made from local and international grapes.
