Villa Atlas

Villa Atlas is a four-bedroomed detached villa located along the Kalamar Road, approximately 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of Kalkan village, and a five minute walk to a choice of two beaches in Kalamar Bay. Villa has Large private pool and a romantic patio furnished with sunbeds and garden furniture. Outdoor cooking and alfresco dining is a must if you want to make the most of the balmy summer evenings here.

The décor is simple and the interiors bright. Four bedrooms are spread out over three floors, with panoramic views across Kalamar and Kalkan Bays, making it ideal to comfortably accommodate a medium sized family or group.

Ground Floor:
•    Open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. The living area is comfortably furnished and has a TV & DVD player

•    Open plan kitchen fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle
•    Bathroom with WC

First floor:
•    Double bedroom with double sized bed; en-suite bathroom with shower; balcony with beautiful views over Kalamar Bay.
•    Double bedroom with double sized bed; en-suite bathroom with shower; balcony with beautiful views over Kalamar Bay.

Second floor:
•    Double bedroom with double sized bed; en-suite shower / wet room. This room has access to a large balcony that has views of both Kalamar and Kalkan bays.
•    Twin bedroom with 2 single beds, an en-suite bath/shower room. This room has a  balcony with views of Kalkan and Kalamar bays.

Third floor:
•    Spacious Roof terrace with Panoramic views of the Kalkan and Kalamar Bays, equipped with a sink and a fridge, table & chairs and sunloungers and a parasol.

General:
•    Large Private pool 
•    Pool terrace includes sunbeds and outdoor furniture
•    Weekly maid service (or as when required at extra cost)
•    A caretaker is available during the day for any emergencies 
•    Clean linen and towels provided

Changeover/checkout: Guests are advised that we are very strict with changeover times. Check-in is at 15.00hrs, and checkout at 11.00hrs. We appreciate that your flight times may not suit this arrangement, and are happy to do all we can to help make your arrival/departure as smooth as possible by storing your luggage (if you are able to bring it to our office) while you kill time before check in/your airport transfer. In return, please help us and our  house keepers to do our work.

  13 June 2023 @13:25 Have just enjoyed an amazing week the villa is very spacious, the roof terrace view and seating is stunning and the pool guy coming every day with fresh bread, villa exceeded our expectations- great communication for check in and out and sorting fresh water for cooler - location is perfect it’s an easy walk to old town but some great restaurants on your doorstep - two supermarkets close by - can highly recommend.

  23 June 2022 @13:38 I have just returned from spending a week at Villa Atlas with 3 friends. I have stayed in Kalkan several times (as have my friends) and this really is our favourite Villa so far! Very well equipped kitchen, great pool, lots of beds in the pool area with plenty of sun or shade depending on your preference, comfy bedrooms and an amazing rooftop with stunning views over the bay. The location just off the Kalamar road is excellent - near to some bars and restaurants if you fancy staying near the Villa and not too far from town either (we timed it and it took 20 minutes at a leisurely pace from the Villa gate to a Raspberry Mojito in our favourite cocktail bar at the bottom of the town). Murat and the team at the Overseas Collection were friendly and incredibly helpful. I highly recommend Villa Atlas and the Overseas Collection team.

  02 October 2019 @14:25 Fantastic Villa Just returned from a two week stay in Villa Atlas and don't have a bad word to say about it. The villa was presented in excellent condition and very clean on arrival. Mid-stay cleaning and linen change was also welcome. The villa had everything we wanted and is very well equipped. All bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with the benefit of en-suite shower room in each. The living area is roomy and comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could want (the water cooler was a nice touch). Air conditioning throughout was excellent and necessary in the August heat. There is so much outside space to choose from with the large pool area well equipped with loungers and eating space. The pool itself was also a good size. The roof top "bar" and seating area were particularly pleasant to relax in during the early evening with fantastic views. The location of the villa was perfect being 15-20 minute stroll to the main town (£2 taxi fare for the trip back up the hill is however worth it) but also having a number of good restaurants just 2 minutes from the villa as well as a small supermarket stocking all essentials. Thanks to Murat, the owner, who was very helpful throughout the booking process and our stay with virtually immediate responses to all our questions. He was also on hand to welcome us and introduce us to the villa on arrival (even though this was at midnight!!). Nice to have a welcome pack and delicious home-made cake to welcome us too. I would definitely recommend this villa.

  02 October 2019 @14:22 Just WOW This was our first time visiting Turkey and I was blown away. From the moment I enquired about the villa to the time we sadly left for the airport nothing was too much trouble from the owner. The villa was just beautiful , clean, modern and all the facilities you need. I was even impressed they have a water and ice machine ! All these little touches made a big difference when we stayed and made this villa stand out worlds apart to any others we have stayed in. The views were just stunning , the location is perfect. The town was literally 2 minutes in a taxi ride away which worked out just under £2! Everything was so reasonable , the people even down to the pool man were just so accommodating and friendly. We ate in numerous places , some within easy walking distance and others in town . All incredible , reasonably priced and huge portions. The villa owner arranged for us to be collected and taken back to the airport , all of this was so smooth and appreciated as took the hassle out of it for us. When we arrived he had even laid out a little welcome package in the fridge and a cake which was lovely. Again I cannot recommend this villa and owner enough. Thank you so so much! We will be back!

  02 October 2019 @14:20 Excellent Holiday Lovely villa on 3 floors with views of mountains and Mediterranean. Location is very near to restaurants and shops. For variety the town centre is a 5 minute taxi ride away. Taxis are cheap and efficient. Kalkan is full of restaurants and bars. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The owner, Murat, can be contacted on WhatsApp. Response is very quick and nothing is too much trouble. The six of us had a superb time.

  02 October 2019 @14:10 Wonderful Villa! This is a truly wonderful Villa! This is the third time to Kalkan, but first time to Villa Atlas, and we wish we'd found it sooner. The property gave us everything we hoped for and more as a base for our family holiday. In truth, one bedroom too many, but that didn't matter at all - we were so taken by what the property offered us, with a good sized pool, comfortable living space, great sized bedrooms (all with ensuit) and a really epic roof terrace. We spent several nights sat at the very top of the Villa taking in the sunset over a cool beer, playing cards and listening to music or reading books and it is one of the most relaxing places you could wish for. Murat was really attentive and helpful and was there if and whenever we needed him, and he made sure we have the perfect start to the holiday with a much appreciated welcome pack. The rest of the team that looked after us were also great, with our daily pool visits and rubbish removal through to the mid-holiday cleaners. Everyone was really helpful and and seemed to genuinely care we had a great time. The two teenage kids loved it and we'll definitely be looking to use Villa Atlas again should we make a fourth trip back to Kalkan!

We have hired many villas in the past and have had to buy bits and pieces that were missing but this villa had everything and was beautifully clean. Quiet location and a 15 minute downhill walk into Kalkan but with bars and restaurants on the way and £2.50 for a taxi back.The view from all the balconies are great but from the rooftop lounge area they are amazing

  02 October 2019 @14:06 This is a high quality well located villa, it is finished to high standard and i particularly liked the fact that each room had an on suite bathroom. the rooms are a good size and a well air conditioned which is essential in Kalkan at the height of the summer! The Villa is well located with only a short walk to the local mini mart and resturants and about a 15 minute walk into the main town. I have been visiting Kalkan since 2009 and have stayed in various villas but i have to say that Villa Atlas is the best by far, Murat is very attentive and is on hand immediately for any issues that may arise during your stay. The villa is very clean and well maintained the pool and patio are cleaned daily. this villa also as a stunning roof terrace and bar, i can't recommend this villa enough.

Villa Atlas was everything that it said in the description and so much more, perfect & absolutely wonderful! There are a lot of villas in Kalkan - you could do a LOT worse than booking Villa Atlas, in fact - we felt you could scarcely do better. This villa is an extremely comfortably appointed four bedroom setup, extremely spacious & all on suite, brand new facilities, well equipped kitchen, outdoor BBQ, phenomenal pool and above all - excellently located - close enough to walk into Kalkan Town but far enough away to avoid any noise. As with all things there are plus and minus points - let me take you through the pros first. - The view. Wow. It's stunning - the view from the pool deck, bedrooms, and particularly the roof is breath-taking. - Quiet. It's relatively secluded, overlooked by just a couple of adjacent properties. You feel that you have absolutely enough privacy and peace. - Great kitchen & BBQ If you cook a lot with the local meat, fish, fruit and vegetables (and I can't recommend this enough) then Atlas's kitchen will provide you with adequate space for two or three cooks to work alongside each other - All modern appliance's - an excellent setup. - Modern. Lots of modern amenities. Wet rooms to shower in, flat screen TV in lounge and two master bedrooms, Wifi throughout. - Pool. Steps leading into a perfect pool - ideal for sitting on & reading on a hot day! Most importantly Murat manages this property is an expert, polite, considerate and extremely friendly (no, he didn't pay me to say this). This is a huge consideration - especially if you encounter problems or questions in your stay (e.g. obtaining water for the water cooler, getting recommendations on car hire, local restaurants and entertainment etc.) Even cake making for special occasions which I must recommend! Cons - None! All in all, Villa Atlas is highly recommended - we have visited Kalkan 10+ times and by far this is the best villa we have stayed in. We will definitely be returning.

  02 October 2019 @14:03 Honeymoon at Villa Atlas The listing description was accurate and exceed our expectations.We had a little trouble finding the villa but phoned Murat, the owner as arranged and he immediately came and found us and showed us to the villa.The villa was spotless,, beautifully provided with a welcome pack and everything that we could need. The owner not only welcomed us, he regularly called in, dealt with our problems using the wifi etc and was always available if needed without being intrusive. We had a friendly pool man come every day to tidy around the outside area and maintain the pool. We would unconditionally recommend the property to our friends and relatives and are already planning to return next year. We can recommend the Kalamar Beach Club with it's wonderful facilities and clear waters, they have a shuttle service that will collect and drop off from the end of the road. There is a regular bus service to Patara Beach and Ruins for a wonderful day out. Boat trips from Kalkan Harbour around the Bay and further afield are wonderful and excellent value. Try a Turkish Bath, quite an experience. There are facilities in the immediate area, bars, shops, restaurants but a walk down to the main town is only 15 minutes and well worth it. There you will be overwhelmed with the variety of shops, restaurants and bars as well as travel shops offering visits and adventure activities further afield. There are too many restaurants to mention and we have enjoyed eating out, last year and this with few reasons for complaint. The seafood is particularly good, the service and attention to detail is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable, less than half UK costs. We loved every moment of our days, from watching the sun come up from our bedroom terrace in the morning to enjoying a glass of wine and watching it go down from the roof terrace in the evening. It was a most wonderful month stay and we enjoyed every aspect of it.
